Niki and Curt’s Gloucester wedding was really everything a wedding photographer could ask for. What is that though? The way I see it, it is a balanced combination between awesome people and a wicked location. This wedding had it all. Niki & Curt were just a pleasure to work with, and having this beautiful fisherman town as the background can’t be topped. I cannot wait to be back there and explore it further!I got connected with Niki & Curt through my (now wife), Devon. Niki and her went to high school together back in North Carolina. So as soon as Devon heard that these two are getting hitched in Gloucester it was obvious to her that she will be there, and then so will I.
Niki and Curt stayed in a beautiful hotel/ restaurant called Mile Marker One in Gloucester, Massachusetts. As you can see in the photos, it was quite a cool spot to hang out in on your wedding week. After the boys got ready, we drove to the beach to take some photos. These three guys are actually theatre actors so you can only imagine how much fun we had together. After that it was Niki’s turn to be photographed. Was she a stunning bride or what?! I love love love her dress. It was so exceptionally unique. Being such a talented artist, it doesn’t surprise me that Niki chose such a neat dress for her wedding day.
The ceremony was held in a gazebo right in a park next to the beach, and overlooking the coast. What a magical place. Looking back at this wedding it almost seems like it was a dream. Other than the stunning location, this wedding was a true celebration of love that you don’t get to see every day. I am looking forward to the next time I get to hang out with these two lovelies. It definitely wasn’t enough!
