Liberty Grand Winter Wedding

Here we go. First wedding of the year and what a start! Lana & David got married in the stunning Liberty Grand in Toronto on a brisk January afternoon. This wedding was so full of emotions beginning to end and it was just so beautiful to see the love these two share for each other and for their friends and family.
For Lana & David’s engagement session we got access to the Porter Airline hanger as the two of them used to work for the airline. It was such an awesome experience shooting around in inside the aircrafts! Having worked for an airline for 5 years myself in the past we already had a huge thing in common between the three of us as soon as we met!

Back to the wedding (I got too excited). We arrived early at Liberty Grand to document the bride and groom getting ready and already knew in the first 5 minutes how emotional this day was going to be. I stayed with the girls while my 2nd shooter, John Park, was photographing the guys getting ready. Lana and David decided to not have a first look moment and just see each other walking down the aisle. The good old fashion way! You can imagine how the two of them felt moment before.

After a lovely ceremony, we went out to the beautiful courtyard of Liberty Grand. While it wasn’t as nice as it is in the warmer months of the year, we still managed to get some sweet, romantic portraits of this lovely pair.

As the night unfolded I realized even more how lucky I was to be spending my Saturday shooting this lovely couple’s wedding. The party was epic. What a fun night!

Fun Fact: 30 minutes before I left, Lana, David and I probably did 5 shots in a row together. It’s was so much fun! (I made it home in one piece to tell the story too!).
