Palais Royal Wedding

I definitely consider Yvonne & Dennis’ Palais Royal wedding to be the wedding that really started the craziness of the season for me. I’ve been waiting for this one for a while and it was way more than I expected it to be. Perhaps the most detailed wedding I’ve ever shot. Yvonne and Dennis’ are the kind of people that you just want to be friends with as soon as you meet them and I am so happy I got to document their joyful celebration of love.
Yvonne got ready at home with her mother and friends. What a fun group! After getting into her dress and putting all of her jewelry on, she opened her wedding gift box from Dennis to find a beautiful ring (make sure to check out her reaction below!). During that part of the day I noticed how close Yvonne is with her mother and it was so beautiful to see (a few tears had dropped during the getting ready stage for sure!).

From there, we headed over to Our Lady of Sorrows church for the ceremony. Although we were quite limited in terms of our movement and lighting, we managed to catupre Yvonne & Dennis’ touching ceremony, in which they promised one another to each other.

Right after the ceremony, we took the party bus to The Goodson for some photos of the wedding party. The management and staff of The Goodson were so nice to us and did a great job being patient with how loud we were 🙂 We got some fun shots there and in Trinity Bellwoods Park and headed over to Palais Royal for the reception. Wondering about the party? It was so much fun as you can see in the photos.

I have to say that this was a very special wedding to me. Since the first time I met these two we already developed a great friendship that is going to last way beyond the wedding day, and for that I’m grateful. I can’t wait to hang out with these guys again soon!
