Steam Whistle Brewery Wedding

Stefanie & Kyle’s Steam Whistle Brewery wedding had all the components a great Toronto wedding needs to have: They got married in September in one of the most beautiful venues in Toronto, which is actually a beer brewery(!). They had an outdoor ceremony with the CN tower as their backdrop. And above all, they had the most relaxed approach to the whole thing. They just breezed through that unforgettable day like it was nobody’s business!
The first time I met with Stefanie was at 416 Snack Bar in Toronto along with our mutual friend Nicola, who was the one who introduced us since Stefanie was looking for a Toronto wedding photographer. It was a great meeting and shortly after Stefanie and Kyle decided to book me as their wedding photographer. Needless to say I was so thrilled and honored to be working with such cool people like Stefanie and Kyle.

On the wedding day, I met the girls at Fuss Hair Studio on Queen St. East. What a cool little spot. We spent at least 15-20 minutes just taking portraits of Stefanie inside the actual studio since it was so visually great and had a bunch of photo opportunities for us. We then headed towards Steam Whistle Brewery. After a sweet first look moment, we carried on for some wedding party and couple portraits before the ceremony.

Stefanie and Kyle had a beautiful outdoor ceremony, overlooking the CN Tower. It doesn’t get more Toronto than that! The rest of the night turned into a super fun party while a thunderstorm was raging outside. So cozy!

Fun fact: During the reception it started pouring rain and I am pretty sure a lightning hit the roof of the venue twice! Not sure what that was all about but it definitely was something I experienced for the first time!
