The Vue Wedding
If I had to rate Sabrina & Kunal’s wedding at The Vue from 1 to 10 in the scale of fun – it would really be an 11! These guys partied so hard that by the end of the night we didn’t want to go home after 14 hours of shooting! Needless to say we were partying with them and had the best night ever. I am so glad I got to meet this special, special couple.Sabrina & Kunal’s celebration of love started a day before their Christian wedding, with their Hindu wedding. As always, it was the most beautiful ceremony, full of colors and traditions. It’s always so wonderful to shoot multiple day weddings and get to know all the family and friends!
I started the day photographing the girls getting ready at Sabrina & Kunal’s place in Mississauga. It was definitely an emotional morning, with lots happening! We did a quick first look moment and then headed over to the venue for some family photos and the ceremony. Throughout the day Sabrina and Kunal were so chill and such a pleasure to work with.
And then came the surprise. After a lovely dinner and touching speeches, we hit the dance floor. I’m telling you, if I thought I liked those two before, I swear I liked them twice as much when I realized the kind of music they are into. That was a whole new level of appreciation! The party was so much fun with a mixed playlist of both Indian music and hip-hop. Kudos to the DJ for playing the most wicked tunes. We couldn’t help but partying with these guys while taking photos. What an epic night.
Conclusion: Indian weddings are so much fun! But I knew that already so it’s nothing new. There is something about this culture that reminds me of my own. It is so happy and the celebration of love is above all on the wedding day. I really hope these two will have a party to renew their vows one day 🙂
