2nd Floor Events Wedding

groom rips chair's arm during horah

I am so excited to post this beautiful 2nd Floor Events wedding! Danielle and Gray just did it right and when I say right I mean that they scheduled a chill out time at Spin ping pong hall for the wedding party as part of the day. Now you tell me that’s not how you plan a wedding.

The last time I saw Danielle and Gray before their wedding day, the three of us went up onto the rooftop of Park & Province, a beautiful Queen West clothing store Gray part owns. With Trinity Bellwoods park as our backdrop, we couldn’t really ask for a better canvas to work with. The session was intimate, fun, and super chill and I felt that the portraits really reflected these two’s love for each other. The wedding vibes were no different and once again it was amazing to see how much we are all a reflection of the people we choose to surround ourselves with. Danielle and Gray were the perfect example for that. A solid group of family and friends made this day something I’m sure they’ll cherish forever.

Fun Fact: The biggest highlight of the evening in my opinion was Danielle’s speech. She is SO funny I’m pretty sure I laughed out loud throughout the whole thing. This, more than anything else, makes me happy for Gray. He gets to spend his life with such a positive, funny partner and when times get hard, laughter can often ease things up. We had a wonderful time photographing this special day and I cannot wait to work with these guys on their wedding album! Shout out to my ever so talented associate Jocelyn Reynolds for helping me capture all of these beautiful moments. Huge thanks to those who made everything look so god damn beautiful:
