Globe and Mail Centre Wedding

Almost three weeks ago, we set off to document LeeAndra & Dave’s breathtaking wedding at the Globe and Mail Centre in downtown Toronto. I met LeeAndra in 2013 as we both worked for a Toronto publication. She is a phenomenal designer and illustrator and her incredible sense of aesthetics was a huge part of every visual aspect of the wedding day. After so many years of photographing weddings, I can’t remember a more beautifully put together overall experience. Needless to say that when Lee and Dave approached me I was so incredibly honored to be the wedding photographer they trusted with their big day. It always has and always will mean so much to me.

While not the first wedding of the year, LeeAndra & Dave’s Globe and Mail Centre wedding was the one truly kicking off the busy season (and the death of all my weekends until November!). We couldn’t ask for a better group of people to photograph. Everyone was super nice, and extra chill and that always makes our work process so much more enjoyable. Who doesn’t like to be a part of a fun environment? When we work, we feed off good vibes and this wedding had plenty of those!

Lastly, I’d like to thank and introduce my new associate, Sarah Bodri! Sarah will be by my side this year as we share some crazy wedding times, documenting lots of feelings. She did a wonderful job with this one here, and I am super excited to see what she brings to the table this season!

Fun Fact:

The wedding party included two former brides I photographed in the last couple of years. I LOVE when that happens because it really makes me feel “at home” and those familiar faces inspire me and motivate my creativity!
